Beginning
with the 2008/2009 school year, Morgen Owings Elementary will have openings for
a 2nd grade teacher and a 4th grade teacher.
Qualifications
to include:
Minimum
of a Bachelor’s Degree with K-8 endorsement (an additional Early Childhood
Education endorsement is also preferred.)
Understanding
of
Understanding
of instructional strategies and assessments practices for kindergarten
students.
Familiar
with instructional best practices and school reform.
Working
knowledge of Washington G.L.E.’s.
Effective
organizational and time management skills.
Excellent
communication skills to work with primary/elementary school age students,
parents, staff and administration.
Experience working with multi age groupings.
Bilingual
(English/Spanish) and ESL endorsement preferred.
