Lake Chelan School District has an opening for a para educator to work a total of 27.5 hours per week at Glacier Valley High School beginning with the 2008/2009 school year, (Monday-Friday). Experience working with high school age students assisting in direct instruction and computer skill preferred. Salary range will be $12.91 to $14.81, depending upon prior school district experience.

Minimum requirements to include:

ü Two years of college (72 quarter hours), an AA degree, or have successfully passed the state Praxis test to meet the “No Child Left Behind” requirements

ü Valid first aid and CPR card

ü FBI, Washington State Patrol and Sexual Misconduct background clearance
