Anyone interested in trying out for the fall and winter cheer squad must attend an information meeting today during lunch.  You must attend to receive paperwork that must be turned in before try outs. Any questions ask Miss Romero.

 

There will be an ASB General Meeting during Advisory tomorrow, April 24, in Mr. Peterson’s room.

 

FCCLA members planning to run for 2008-2009 chapter officer team positions need to pick up an application from Rachel or Mrs. K. by Friday.

 

Attention all FBLA members: Elections for new club officers will be on Monday the 28th.  Those of you who are interested in becoming a new officer, please see Mr. Kronbauer or Dane deQuilettes to acquire an application.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES:

The Echo Valley Ski Area is hosting a Work Party for Saturday, April 26th, at 9:00 a.m.  Please join us to complete many storage projects:  Taking ropes off tows, storing signs, removing snow fence, cleaning the lodge, picking up sticks, rocks & litter, deflate snow tubes, etc....  Bring rakes, gloves & a sack lunch!  Community Service Hours available to high school students.  Questions?  Call Terrie - 687-9355

JOB POSTINGS:

Morgen Owings Elementary Pre K Summer School 2008 is scheduled August 11 to August 14 and August 18 to August 21, Monday through Thursdays for a total of 8 days.  Students will attend school from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.   At this time, the district anticipates the following positions, dependent upon actual student enrollment:

Up to 3 certificated teachers, up to 3 classified paraprofessionals, Secretary, Bus Drivers, Food Service, 1 head cook, 1 credit retrieval instructor.  A number of positions filled will be dependent upon actual student enrollment in our summer program and are subject to change.

 

Beginning with the 2008/2009 school year, Morgen Owings Elementary may have openings for a kindergarten and a 2nd grade teacher.

 

Lake Chelan School District has an opening beginning with the 2008/2009 school year for a Middle School Principal/Athletic/Activities Director.

           

Lake Chelan School District #129 has an opening beginning with the 2008/2009 school year for a half-time certified music teacher with skills in both choral and instrumental music.

 

Lake Chelan School District #129 has an opening beginning with the 2008/2009 school year for a secondary English teacher.  Contact the district office for more details.

 

Lake Chelan School District has an opening, beginning with the 08/09 school year, for a middle school (7th grade) teacher to teach language arts, social studies and reading.

 

Lake Chelan School District has an opening, beginning with the 08/09 school year, for a middle school (8th grade) teacher to teach English.

 

Lake Chelan School District #129 has an opening for a half-time ESA certified counselor beginning with the 2008/2009 school year.
