Audition Notice!  Tryouts for the Chelan HS & Manson HS combined musical, “The Quiltmaker’s Gift”, will be TODAY, March 20, 3:20pm in the CHS band room. 

 

Blood donation appointments are going fast.  If you plan to give blood next week, call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE soon.

 

Mrs. Keathley will be giving the Food Handler’s Test during first period Tuesday, March 11.

 

FCCLA State qualifiers will meet in Mrs. Keathley’s room Tuesday at lunch.  This is a mandatory meeting if you plan to go to State, be there!

 

Juniors interested in attending the Wenatchee Valley College fieldtrip on Friday, March 28th- please turn your permission form and college selection sheet into Mrs. Parsley by lunch on Wednesday, March 12th.

 

 FCCLA meets Friday, March 14, during advisory and lunch.

COMMUNITY SERVICE: 

Help is needed for the youth wrestling tournament Saturday, March 8th.  If you are interested in earning community service hours, please see Mr. Gleasman.

 

Here’s another opportunity for community service:  gatekeeping at Mission Ridge Ski Races, March 14-16! You get to do some skiing, watch a race, get lunch, and a free ticket for another day. There’s also pizza at the end of the day. JOB POSTINGS:

Lake Chelan School District has an opening for a Director of Student Learning, Assessment, Student Records, and Internet-based Learning. The job goal is to lead and coordinate student learning improvements through data, records, and assessment management.

 

Lake Chelan School District has an opening for a special education Para educator at the secondary level for the remainder of the 07/08 school year (Monday through Thursday, 2.33 hours per day and Friday, 6 hours per day).

 

Lake Chelan High School has an opening for a long term certified substitute beginning about March 24, 2008 through May 30, 2008 to teach world history, Latino history and CWP.  Requirements include a valid Washington State teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements.

 

Lake Chelan School District has an opening for a National Board Facilitator/Mentor to provide assistance to certified staff in Lake Chelan School District pursuing National Board Certification. 

 

Chelan High School has an opening for a head high school girls’ soccer coach beginning with the 2008/2009 school year. 

 

Lake Chelan School District #129 has an opening beginning with the 2008/2009 school year for a half-time certified music teacher with skills in both choral and instrumental music.
