Earth Day was celebrated Saturday April 26th, at Riverwalk
Park. If you have ever been interested in solar-powered items,
nice yet extremely affordable jewelry, or natural health solutions
then Earth Day was the place to be. The booths stretched out
around the walk paths for easy access. All day long, there
was live music entertainment by local bands to serenade the
guests while they browsed the booths. There was even some
food for anyone who got hungry. As in previous years, there
was a reptile exhibit for those who like their reptilian brothers.
With Earth Day just two weeks before Mother’s Day it
also made for the perfect time to find a great gift for your
mother! Where the atmosphere is like home and the people are
friendly, Earth Day at Riverwalk park is an event you don’t
want to miss.

The
message of Earth Day comes through loud and
clear in this banner hanging over the park.

Samantha
Flaget and Kaytie Winter take part in the Earth
Day festivities by taking their dogs out for a day in the
park.
