Lakeview
Reopens
Continued
With good reason too! They have Root Beer Frostys, those big
buckets of fries, bacon burger baskets, onion rings, mozarella
sticks, boneless chicken baskets, and don’t forget the
double bacon burger basket for those who want to indulge. Don’t
worry we won’t tell. Lakview will be open from 11am till
whenever business slows down and the staff decide to call it
a day, and it’ll probably be well earned. The opening
should get a great turnout and figures to stay busy most of
the day. |

Students
Give
the Gift
of Life
This year the annual blood drive ran by the high
schools med club students took place Tuesday March 18th from
2pm until 6pm. There were many student volunteers helping out
at the event. The blood drive is also an excellent way to recieve
community service hours, whether by helping those gathering
blood or by donating some yourself. The blood is given the Red
Cross blood bank to help restock their reserves. It is first
taken to a lab for testing and then is dispersesed to many different
areas involved with the Red Cross. There was roughly 70 donors
at this event and about 74 pints of blood was given. “O”
blood type is compatible with all blood types. TJ Sandum, who
was at the blood drive stated that “If you can donate
blood it is a great way to help people out.” With having
so many people this year the blood drive was a wonderful success
in helping out those who need blood.
