“That first peak is the best place to pause and look
back, to see if you took the easiest route, to learn the lessons
from the first climb. And it is the best place to examine
the terrain ahead, to change your plans and goals, to take
a deep breath and begin climbing again.”- Johnson. The
team is coached by Coach Barker
Golf is a very different sport, “You always feel like
you could’ve done a little better than you actually
played- which is why you keep coming back and torturing yourself.”
Although Coach Einspahr might enjoy “torturing”
his athletes he does hope the best for them. Through encouragment
he wants to help them sail to a first place at state.

optimistic about this years team. “We’re talented,
I’m excited to see if we can reach our true potential.”
To reach the goal of playing to the best of their abilities,
they will be spending a lot of time working on skills and
strategy. “Tennis is a load of fun. Ask any current
player. If you’re not playing, you’re missing
out.
A fimilar face, Coach Quick , the soccer coach has high hopes
for the team this year. hoping to place top three at regionals.

be completely fulfilled with destinations that are much closer
to home and more comfortable. But if you long to keep going,
then I hope you are able to follow my lead to the places I
have gone. To within a whisper of your own personal perfection.
To places that are sweeter because you worked so hard to arrive
there. To places at the very edge of your dreams.” -Johnson
