Miss
Lake Chelan is a scholarship program that allows girls to compete
in various areas such as talent, fitness, self-expression (poise),
scholastic, and interview.
At
the beginning of January, ten young women began practicing to
be the next Miss Lake Chelan. On March 5th they were interviewed
by the judges at 1:00 pm. The public part of the competition began
at 6:00 pm. It was a night of intense competition in the areas
of fitness, talent, and poise. In the end, the 2008 Miss Lake
Chelan was crowned along with her Royal Court. Congratulations
to all the girls who participated, and thank you to our community
for making this even such a huge success.
