The Miss Lake Chelan Program is a scholarship opportunity given to Junior Girls attending Chelan High School. As Juniors, the girls participating will learn valuable life skills, such as how to present themselves in a dignified fashion and how to articulate words in a professional manner. As Seniors, the three girls that are given the title of Miss Lake Chelan, First Runner Up, and Second Runner Up are also in charge of training the incoming junior participants. They will also be choreographing each of the four dance routines and teaching helpful interview techniques. All in all, the Miss Lake Chelan Program is much more than a beauty pagent, it is an experience meant to give girls the self confidence needed to succeed.
