All State Officer Candidates must have qualified for
or received the State FFA Degree. If you have received the State Degree prior
to this application, please list the date that it was conferred upon you.
The candidate, a parent or guardian,
and chapter advisor must participate in an informational conference call with
the state FFA staff prior to State FFA Convention. (Dates for these will be released once all
applications are received.)
Each year the Washington State FFA Organization
elects six outstanding individuals to serve as the Washington State FFA Officer
Team.

The purpose
of this team is to promote the FFA, Agriculture, and Agricultural Education to
our members, partners, and the public.

The officers
are held to high standards of ethical conduct and healthy lifestyles as they
are the tools by which the State FFA Organization is measured. Please refer to
the Official FFA Manual for these standards.
I will participate in the officer candidate conference call, and will
follow the conduct guidelines if elected to a State FFA Office. I also
understand the State FFA Officer Election Process and am willing to forego
education/college for my year of service.
