For Immediate Release – The Annual Chelan FFA Spring Plant Sale will be held Saturday, April 26^th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chelan Agriculture Education Department Greenhouse at Chelan High School. A wide variety of bedding plants, vegetable starts, hanging baskets, color baskets, and herbs will be available for sale.

The greenhouse crop has been cultivated by the Chelan FFA members in the Advanced Agriscience course at the Chelan High School since early February. Pony packs of the following bedding plants are available petunias, marigolds, verbena, phlox, salvia, lobelia, begonias, snapdragons, zinnias, and pansy. 4”
and 6” geraniums are available in a rainbow of colors. Fuchsia and Ivy Geranium hanging baskets are ready for you to take home. 5 varieties of tomatoes, 2 varieties of cucumbers, broccoli, cabbage, summer squash, watermelons, cantaloupes, pumpkins, acorn squash, 4 varieties of peppers, cilantro, parsley, basil, savory, dill await those people who come to the sale.

FFA members will be on hand to answer your planting questions, help you pick out plants, and even help pack them to your car. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday morning. Remember quality is great and quantities are limited when the plants are gone; they are gone until next year.
