For Immediate Release –Sammi Jo Cool was awarded the Intermediate
Girls Cowriding Champion Buckle by the Caribou Trail
Junior Rodeo Association (CTJRA) at their annual awards banquet held at the
Riverside Grange on Saturday March 1st. This buckle capped off a successful rodeo
season where she won buckles at the Okanogan Jr. Rodeo, Moses Lake Jr. Rodeo,
Othello Jr. Rodeo, Colville Jr. Rodeo and the Washington State Junior Rodeo
Finals for cowriding. She is a fourth generation rodeo competitor
and also competes in barrel racing, goat tying, pole
bending and breakaway calf roping. The
CTJRA awarded buckles to association members in each event and age category
based on points earned at CTJRA sanctioned rodeos throughout the season. They also awarded All Around
Saddles to age bracket winners. The CTJRA has over 100 members from all over
