1. Proposals

A. Sponsorship for district and regional basketball programs. Approved.

B. AAU Sponsorship: Suggested by Darrell Simpson, community member, to contact parks dept. to sponsor sports teams. Mary will contact Jane at Chelan Parks to discuss annual sponsorship.

C. Scott suggested CABC assistance with operational support for sports’ banquet. Winter Sports’ Banquet scheduled for March 12, 2009 at 6:30 pm.

2. Discussion Items:

A. Popshoots: Dates set for Jan. 17th (retro night), 24th and Feb. 10th.

B. Booster Club accounts and ASB accounts: Plan is to make transition of funds to ASB following each sport season after AD has spoken to each coach. Fall is completed. Discussed CABC’s roll with other nonCABC accounts. Will continue discussion.

C. Sports Award Boards for gym: Continued. Mary and Scott to meet following this meeting to finalize order. Mary to contact Russell Sign Co. representative.

D. Leadership turnover: Welcome to Brett Pittsinger as a replacement. Carolyn Anderson also contacted and she is interested as well. Other names are also welcome at any time.

E. Mascot: Waiting notification if a grant was awarded from the Chamber of Commerce.

F. Winter Liaisons: Reminders to contact sport team.

G. Contact was made with community member, Darrell Simpson and his recent letter

t the editor in the Lake Chelan Mirror about equipment needs of AAU soccer.

Mary made contact with him. In the meantime, the Parks Dept. will be purchasing equipment that was needed. No action required.

H. Victory Bell: A plaque will be placed with the bell to recognize CABC’s

donation.

I. BBQ purchase: Purchased, assembled and ready for check out to use. Contact Robin Hanson.

Wednesday March 1^st at 7:00 pm at the HS.
