Welcome to MOE PTA! The PTA is an important part of the Morgen Owings Elementary team. Our PTA supports our school through raising additional funds, by volunteering support for classroom and school activities, and by reinforcing the student-teacher-parent relationship. PTA provides a great opportunity for parents to become more involved with their child’s school experience. Typical activities in which we would like your help include: Open House, Screening tests with School Nurse, help & support the different fund raising projects, such as, Cookie Dough sales, Splash into Summer @ Slidewaters, moe spirit wear, Box Tops for Education, Game day (climbing rockwall), staff appreciation, student council, and Run Club. PTA looks forward to meeting and working with you during the school year. You may join PTA by contacting the school office or attending a meeting.

 

PTA GOALS

1. Support the overall success of all children through enrichment programs.
2. To work with all staff to bridge us together.
3. To encourage parent(s)/guardian & community involvement to ensure that every child has a significant adult involved in his/her life.
4. To enhance the financial position with existing and new fundraisers.
5. To ensure the PTA leaders & volunteers are well trained and mentored.
