WEEK 0 09/02/08 – 09/05/08

Welcome to the cyber-home of room 211. My name is Mr. Craven and I am a fourth grade teacher at Morgen Owings Elementary School. In grade four (5) we have one team which is made up of 5 teachers that work together to teach approximately 125 students. Each of the teachers instructs a variety of subjects including science, math, social studies, writing and reading.

Our team holds high expectations for our students, which means that we expect you as a student to work hard and to constantly improve. We will not be content if you are the same student at the end of each week. We expect you to continue to grow as a student and as a person and we hope that you will expect these same things from yourself. For our part we will be there to support you in our journey together. Remember that we are here to help you.

Now that you know a little about who we are and what we expect, let me tell you about this web site.

I designed this web site as a resource for my students and their parents/guardians. This site provides you with basic information; such as, conduct expectations and my grading policies as well as providing specific information about homework and assigned projects. This web site will also provide you with copies of rubrics, project checklists, project outlines, vocabulary, study guides and more. We will also use this web site as a starting point for classroom activities and research. I hope this site is a help to both parents and students. If you need some information that you can not find on this page or if you notice something that does not work properly on the site, please feel free to contact me using the link to my email.
