Chelan Public Library

Librarian, Lou Verellen, from the Public Library does a presentation for our 1^st graders. She teaches them about the library and how to get their very own library card. We take a field trip down to the library to see how it all works. I encourage all families to teach their children how to use the library. It is a wonderful free resource. It is important for children to see their parents reading. It is also nice to have access to the internet, videos and magazines as well as all of the wonderful books.
