Mrs. Bankson’s and Mrs. Burton’s Core Class Persuasive Writing

Well, we just finished this really, really, really cool persuasive newsletter in Mrs. Bankson’s and Mrs. Burton’s classes. We learned about writing persuasively, about making an argument, about how our opinion matters. We separated into different groups, and each group got a cool debate topic that we all loved about as much as grandma’s green-bean coleslaw. We had to decide whether we agreed with that argument or not, no ridin’ fences. We chose a side and wrote an article on our opinion of the issue. We also had the blessin’ of choosing another part of the newsletter to do, either a movie review or a music critique or a travel recommendation, or an interview with someone. So we wrote and wrote and thought and thought and hopefully put together a bunch of whodandy newsletters. We hope you enjoy reading them!
