Accelerated Reader is a reading improvement program which is computer based. Students read books based on their ZPD (reading level ) and take quizzes on computers. They earn points with each quiz which counts toward their goal for the quarter. As students practice their reading 30 minutes a day they improve their reading level and do better work in school.
