WORKSHOP SESSION

• Review of WSSDA General Assembly Items

The board reviewed the 48 WSSDA General Assembly proposals, discussed the merits of each, and reached a majority position on each in order to inform Director Fuller on how to vote at the upcoming General Assembly.

• Review of OPMA (Open Public Meetings Act)

The board reviewed the requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act with special attention to the rules regarding the holding of Executive Sessions.

• Review of Board Meeting Yearly Planner

The board reviewed the yearly board calendar of meeting topics, updates, and presentations as presented by Superintendent Wilson.

• Review of LCSD Strategic Plan areas, progress, and needs

The board discussed the current strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and barriers regarding progress in our strategic plan areas. This will help inform district priorities and work plans throughout the coming year.
