CHS NEWSLETTER
Our Mission: To promote a learning environment where each student is empowered to reach his or her full potential.
Greetings Students and Parents,
Welcome to our 2021-2022 school year at Chelan High School. We are excited to partner with our school community of students, teachers, classroom aides, office staff, kitchen staff, custodians, bus drivers and parents to make this year one filled with outstanding learning experiences. We are beyond excited to have ALL OUR STUDENTS BACK TOGETHER FULL TIME in our building working together to grow our Chelan Way of being: motivated, open-minded, respectful, and engaged (M.O.R.E.)! We are continually amazed by our students’ resiliency, compassion, and energy. This year will be one filled with reconnecting, new experiences, and reignition of some old traditions. Our vision is that the Chelan High School experience leads to graduates who interact effectively with and value others and who solve problems by questioning and reasoning effectively.
Before we get started with schedule pick up at Goat Day on Tuesday, August 24th, and our first school day on Tuesday, August 31st at 8:25 AM, we wanted to take this opportunity to share a few updates:

*Welcome home new CHS Family and Consumer Science teacher Salvador Gonzalez! Salvador is a CHS alum and completed his post-secondary degree at Washington State University.
*Welcome to CHS new Career Connections teacher Bill Sibbers. Bill joins us from the Tacoma school district and is passionate about creating real world learning opportunities for our students via partnerships with area businesses.

A big THANK YOU to our custodial and maintenance staff for all the effort put in over the summer to beautify our buildings and grounds. From changing air filters to waxing floors and everything in be- tween, our crews do a fantastic job!
