Teacher Appreciation Day – May 5th, 2020

“From the moment students enter a school, the most important factor in their success is not the color of their skin or the income of their parents. It’s the person standing at the front of the classroom.”

Barack Obama, President 2010

On behalf of the Board of Directors, a BIG thanks to each one of you for “standing in front of the classroom” and playing a pivotal role in the lives of your students. It is your work and the impact you have on students that makes all the difference.  Your influence goes far beyond the classroom as you help students grow emotionally as well as academically.

This year, in particular, your efforts to continue educating students virtually is recognized and appreciated more than you know.  Happy Teacher Appreciation Day!

Barry DePaoli, Superintendent & the LCSD Board of Directors
