Great Chelan Food Drive Battle: MS vs. HS!

It’s time to show up, give back, and bring the heat! Starting Monday, November 9 through Thursday, November 19, Chelan Middle School and High School are teaming up—and facing off—for our Holiday Food Drive!

The need in our local community is huge right now, especially as we enter the holiday season. Giving back helps our neighbors, supports local families, and honestly… it just feels good to do good! But to make it more interesting, we’re adding a little friendly competition….

    • Middle School: Bring your canned and boxed non-perishable food items directly to your any of your grade level core teachers classroom….they should all have a box for food in their room.
    • High School: Drop off your donations at the designated area in the Commons every morning between 8:00 AM – 8:25 AM.  We will have an Interact Club member present assisting.

     What’s on the Line?

    1. Which grade level can collect the most items?
    2. The Ultimate Rivalry: Middle School vs. High School — Who will bring in the most overall donations and earn ultimate bragging rights?

Let’s rally together, fill those bins, and make this food drive rock! Start collecting your items now!

  • Calling All Student Speakers! Do you want to share what Freedom means to you? We are looking for two student speakers to share a short speech at our Veterans Day Assembly next Tuesday! If you’re interested in honoring our veterans and speaking at the assembly, send an email to Mr. Sanders as soon as possible. Express your voice and make a difference!
  • Restroom Reminder: Keep CMS Clean! A huge THANK YOU to all the students who consistently make great choices and treat our school facilities with respect!Recently, our hard-working custodians have had to clean up big messes caused by items being poured or shoved into our toilets, making them unusable for everyone. Remember the golden rule: If it doesn’t come out of your body naturally, it does NOT belong in the toilet!

Let’s support our custodial team and keep our restrooms clean and working. If you ever see something in a bathroom that looks out of place, please let an adult know right away. Thanks for keeping CMS a great place to be!
