Superintendent Selection
The Lake Chelan School District Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Brad Wilson has been selected as the new superintendent of the Lake Chelan School District, effective July 1st , 2022.
Mr. Wilson has been the principal at Lake Chelan High School for the past 6 years and before that was Chelan Middle School principal. The board will work with Mr. Wilson over the next few days to negotiate a contract and final contract approval will be at the April 12th Board meeting. Mr. Wilson will replace Barry DePaoli, who is retiring June 30th , 2022.
The Board of Directors would like to thank staff and community members for their input during the search process.

Invitation to Apply for Interview Observer Panel

The Lake Chelan School District Board of Directors is seeking individuals to serve on the Superintendent Interview Observer Panel to observe the preliminary interviews of candidates for superintendent of the Lake Chelan School District. The interviews will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd and Wednesday, March 23rd starting at 4:30 p.m.

Superintendent Search Input Survey
*Update (01/27/2022)- Thank you to everyone that participated in the survey! They are now closed. The NWLA team will compile all the information from the surveys for the school board. We really appreciate the time you took to give us your feedback.
Staff, student and community input is a very important aspect in our search for a superintendent. Northwest Leadership Associates has put together the following survey to collect input about leadership characteristics and qualities needed in the next Lake Chelan School District Superintendent.
Community Meeting
During the January 11th board meeting, superintendent Barry Depaoli announced his retirement. The search for his successor has already begun. The board has chosen Northwest Leadership Associates to assist with this search.
On January 19th, Northwest Leadership Associates will be hosting an open community meeting at the District Office and via Zoom.
For those who are unable to attend in person, please click on the Zoom links above to join the meeting. Contact Georgia at the District Office if you have any questions regarding Zoom. Northwest Leadership Associates will also be providing a survey. The link for the survey, along with other information regarding the superintendent search, will be available on the school website in the near future.
