Announcements:

  • FFA Soils Permission slips are due by no later than today! Make sure you get these turned in this morning.
  • Student Council Members, please remember to get your club/sport paper signed and returned to Mrs. Finch today!
  • There will be a fishing club meeting today in room 155 at the beginning of lunch.
  • There is an FCCLA meeting today during Lunch in Mr.Gonzalez’s room.
  • As we wrap up suicide prevention month we want to say thank you to the students that invested time and energy to be advocates & supports for their peers in need. Over the month of September over 50 students in the school have been trained in the QPR prevention tool and our Hope Squads have been learning tools, supporting peers, and are listening ears for the students here at the middle and high school. You may have also noticed signs around the halls with contact numbers or text lines for crisis situations. Just a reminder that if you or a friend is ever in need of mental health support please reach out to a trusted adult/teacher or counselor here in our school. Thank you for caring about one another! 
  • All Juniors wanting to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 12th, please come sign up in the counseling office.
  • Volunteer opportunity to work concessions at Chelan Youth Football games on Oct. 15 and 29. Shifts are from 10-12 or 12-2. Please see Mrs. Finch or Arden Paglia with Goats Give Back for further details or to sign up.
  • Attention Seniors: The Regional College & Career Expo will be held at Wenatchee Valley College on Thursday, November 3rd.  If you would like to attend, we will be travelling by bus at 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Students will have the opportunity to visit with area businesses, vocational training organizations, military representatives, colleges and universities. Please sign up with Mrs. Carleton in the Career Center and pick up a permission slip for this field trip. A signed permission slip from your parent (yes, even if you are 18 years old) must be returned by October 20th.

Upcoming Athletic Events: 

  • Today 9/30: Varsity Football VS Omak at Omak High School. Buss will load at 3:15PM. Game starts at 7:00pm
  • Saturday 10/1: XC at Nike 15th Annual Twilight Invitational at Cedarcrest Gold Course, Marysville. Vans will load at 6:45AM. All day event.
