Current- Manual Labor

Julie Notman needs several volunteers to help with books moved from a basement to a carport. It is about 11 steps straight up and outside to the carport. Please contact Julie  at 509-678-4177 if you’re interested in in helping or for more information. Great for community service hours.


Current- Chelan Senior Center 
The Chelan Senior Center is looking for assistance with their outdoor landscape maintenance projects this fall. Earn community service hours while helping our local Senior Center. Jobs include: weeding, vegetable clean-up, trim roses, clear brush, rake leaves, etc.

May 4- October 26, 2023- Chelan Evening Farmers Market Community Service Hours Opportunity!
The market would love to have student volunteers anytime they are available to help. Some of our older vendors carry their sale items from their vehicle to their sale area. The market is open May 4th through October 26th on Thursdays. Our regular hours are 2:00PM to 6:00PM and we start setting up from 12:00PM to 2:00PM then we tear down from 6:00PM to 7:00PM.  Anyone who is interested in community service hours for set up or teardown can call April Leaf at 206-920-2619


March 18, 2023 – Feed My Starving Children event to be held at the Community Gym. This is a food packing opportunity to create mobile packs of dry goods (oatmeal, protein powder, grains, etc.) You’ll assist in putting these dry goods into packs to help feed starving children around the world. All ages are welcome to volunteer. Bring your family.

Open until filled – Would you like to be the mascot for the Chelan Fire Fighters? “Sparky” is an adult sized costume used to promote fire safety in a fun way. Sparky appears and must commit to approximately six events per year, including the local parades, Earth Day and more! Earn community service hours while having fun in our community. Two people are needed and must be 5’9″ to 6’2 in order to fit the costume.
