Rotary Scholarship Fundraiser

For many years Lake Chelan Rotary has provided scholarships to Lake Chelan Valley high school students at both the Chelan and Manson high schools. Unfortunately, scholarships for 2021 graduating students are in jeopardy.

Normally, Lake Chelan Rotary holds a number of fundraising events to raise funds for student scholarships. Due to COVID 19 our 2020 fundraising events were canceled, and we have been unable to raise the funds needed to support scholarships for 2021 graduating seniors.

We need your help. Providing scholarships is crucial to ensure that deserving students can pursue education beyond high school, and give back to our community in the future. You will be making a difference whether you donate $5 or $500 to the Lake Chelan Rotary Scholarship Fund.

And did you know….as part of the CARES act, the IRS is allowing taxpayers who do not itemize deductions to take a charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made in 2020. While our scholarship campaign will extend through January, this is a good reason to consider donating now in December!
