WEEKLY FACE MASK CONTEST

*The theme for Week 3 will be “Professional Sports Teams”*

The winner will be announced by the Mayor on Wednesday, June 10th, at 8:10 a.m. on KOZI.  The deadline for submission is Tuesday, June 9^th at noon.

The City of Chelan is holding a weekly contest to select the most unique face mask! Each week a new theme will be announced. Citizens are encouraged to create a mask following each week’s theme and send a photo wearing their mask to the City (pmichajla@cityofchelan.us) or post on the City’s Facebook page. The intent of this effort is to help promote the importance of our citizens wearing face masks when out in public – and also to have some fun and win a prize!

Mayor Goedde will announce the weekly winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) at 8:10 a.m. each Wednesday morning during his City update on KOZI Radio. He will also reveal the upcoming week’s theme on KOZI. The winners and all of the entry photos along with the upcoming weekly mask themes will be posted on the City’s Facebook page. Entries are due no later than 12:00 Noon on Tuesdays.

Prizes for the weekly winners (divided according to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place):

• $75 in Chamber Bucks – donated by Mayor Goedde, the Dobbs Family, and the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce ($25 each)
• $50 gift certificate from The Apple Cup Café
• Manson Chamber of Commerce Chamber Bucks donation
• Two gift baskets (only for the 2nd week Pet theme) – donated by Beth from All for Paws
